This is the new (soon to be) powerhouse for the Bronco. I don't know if my build order is backassward or not, but this seemed a comfortable place to begin.
Say hello to my 1969 351W. Hey - at least the casting is the same year as the Bronco. I will be tearing this down to see if I got a gem or a lemon - never know until it apart. The guy that sold me the Bronco had this for the last 6 years and did nothing to it. It came out of wrecked Cougar, or so he said. I guess there is a chance it was never rebuilt.
Check this out - inside one of the valve covers was the foil from the top of an oil can - that couldn't have been good.
